This is to notify all applicants that wrote the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) post-UTME screening examination that their results are now available to check online.

Checking of UNN post UTME result will be available to participants after they pay the sum of N1,000 only at all designated banks or via your ATM Card on the RRR platform.

How to Check UNN Post UTME Result Online

1. Log on to UNN post UTME result checking portal at https://unnportal.unn.edu.ng/Modules/Applications/PUTME/PUTMEResults/CheckPostUTMEResults.aspx.
2. Fill in your JAMB Registration Number.
3. Go head and generate an invoice that has your RRR Number.
4. Pay using your ATM Card or go to any bank with your printout for payment.
5. Return to the Portal.
6. Fill in your Registration Number.
7. Your result is available to you.

OR

Go to a cafe and everything will be done for you all at once but the price may differ.

NB: All applicants can start checking 24 hours after their screening exercise. Do not fall victim to scammers selling Scratch cards or pretending to help you with your results in any way.

Brief History Of UNN

The University of Nigeria, popularly known as UNN, is a federal university located in Nsukka, Enugu State, Eastern part of Nigeria. Founded by late Nnamdi Azikiwe in the year 1955 and officially opened on 7 October 1960, the University of Nigeria, UNN has three campuses in Enugu State– Nsukka, Enugu, and Ituku-Ozalla.

The University of Nigeria, UNN is the first full-fledged indigenous university in Nigeria, designed upon the American educational system. It was the first land-grant university in whole of Africa and one of the 5 most reputed universities in Nigeria. The university has 17 Faculties and 102 academic departments. The university of Nigeria, UNN offers 108 undergraduate programs and 211 postgraduate programmes.

Early History

A law to establish a university in the Eastern Region of Nigeria was passed on 18 May, 1955.
