Fayose donates hotel in Ibadan for Peter Obi’s ‘obedient’ election campaign

As the 2023 general election approaches, Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti state governor and PDP chief Ayodele Fayose, has pledged to donate his hotel in Ibadan, Oyo state, for the presidential candidate’s election campaign of the Labor Party. Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi.

Mr Fayose announced this on Thursday via a video on his official Instagram account.

According to him, the hotel, which is located at 10 Federal High Court Road, at New Adeoyo Street, at Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, has many rooms, halls, swimming pools and a large space that can accommodate a thousand people.

He stated that the donation of the hotel became necessary to ensure that Mr. Peter Obi’s supporters in Ibadan have a favorable place to hold their meetings and mobilize people in the run-up to the upcoming general election.

The video he captioned “Message to Peter Obi Supporters in Ibadan, Oyo State” goes like this:

‘My obedient in Ibadan, I have good news for you. I will donate my hotel for the four or six months left until this election.

“My hotel has four shops, halls, rooms, swimming pools and a large hall for a fair that can accommodate 1000 people. So if you are obedient and you are in Ibadan, we now need to identify our polling stations, which I think is about 4,000 polling stations. Ibadan alone will be about 1,000 plus.

“Now you have a place to hold your meeting. There is no business there (the hotel) because I want to sell the place, but before I sell, we can use it for Obi until after the election. Obidient in the state of Ibadan Oyo for the time being.’
