Obi, supporters comply with IPOB directive – Omokri

Reno Omokri, media assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan, wrote off Labor Party presidential candidate Peter Obi on Wednesday night, saying he can never be a good leader.

In fact, this is how he accused the former governor of Anambra and his ‘Obidient’ movement of religiously complying with the mandatory sit-down directive by the leadership of the indigenous people of Biafra.

Speaking on Channels TV Politics Today, Omokri noted that the former governor lacks political wisdom to campaign for Nigerians abroad who cannot vote.

“IPOB had a sitting at home yesterday (Tuesday) and Obidienten meeting every day decided to follow the order yesterday, Peter Obi also complies with this order. This shows that they respect IPOB more than our Constitution.”

According to him, Obi is a political paperweight that will only draw votes from a certain region of the country.

He also believed that the politician, whose supporters have resorted to cyberbullying, is incapable of causing unrest in the political scene ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

“At the moment we have three major candidates and Atiku Abubakar is the only national and prepared candidate. If you’re talking about someone like Peter Obi, he’s just a regional candidate.

“Obi is a political paperweight and that is why they have resorted to organized cyberbullying, but when the elections start they will know it goes beyond social media.”
