OSDNA in honor of Ogbomoso Recreation Club President, Oladeji-Johnbrown

Ogbomoso Sons and Daughters in North America (OSDNA), is set to represent the President, Ogbomoso Recreation Club, Ogbomoso, Dr. Akin Oladeji-Johnbrown, with an award for his outstanding contribution to the development of Ogbomosoland.

According to a letter signed by the Secretary General, ODSNA, Mr. Oyesola Ojo, the award ceremony will take place during the 25th anniversary celebrations scheduled between September 2 and 3, 2022 in the United States of America.

The letter to Oladeji-Brown continued: “As an illustrious son of our motherland, you have continued to demonstrate your unwavering support and unparalleled commitment to the growth and development of Ogbomosoland through various philanthropic projects.

“In appreciation of your good work and kind gestures, the Executive Council and all members of OSDNA invite you to our 25th anniversary as a special guest and special award winner on the occasion.”

The highlight of the event is the presentation of a paper on the development of Ogbomosoland for the betterment of both the indigenous people and settlers in the city, by Dr. Akin Oladeji-Johnbrown, who will be joined to the event by members of Ogbomoso Recreation Club which includes AIG Supo Ajani (Rtd), Dr Sammy Olaniyi, Professor Jide Ajao and Barrister Abraham Ojo.

OSDNA is a registered not-for-profit socio-cultural organization in North America, committed to making a positive contribution to the growth and development of Ogbomosoland and Oyo State in general.

Over the past two decades, OSDNA has continued to fund and run several commendable projects and charitable programs aimed at improving the quality of life of the residents of Ogbomosoland and the surrounding area.
