Travelers stranded as flood takes over Odo Ogun Bridge [PHOTOS]

Dozens of travelers driving on the Eruwa-Ibadan road in Oyo state have been stranded.

DAILY POST reports that the travelers have been stranded since Saturday.

Our correspondent learned from the travelers that the flood has taken over the Odo Ogun Bridge since Saturday.

The flooding was the result of continued rain in the area on Friday and Saturday.

This development made it impossible for road travelers to continue their journey.

The Odo Ogun Bridge is an important bridge along the Eruwa-Ibadan road.

The road is the main road connecting Ibadan to the geopolitical zone of Ibarapa.

It was learned that some travelers going to Ibadan from Eruwa and travelers going to Eruwa from Ibadan slept on the highway on Saturday, while some of them had to go back to take the Moniya-Iseyin route on Sunday.

At the time of the submission of this report on Sunday, the situation was still the same.
